Terms of service
The rules of using OnTheBuck. In plain language wherever we can.
These Terms govern your use of OnTheBuck (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
OnTheBuck is a personal-finance tool: it aggregates your accounts and transactions, and provides budgets, cashflow, spending insights, and investment tracking. The Service is provided "as is". We don't provide financial advice, and you remain responsible for your own financial decisions.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older. You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
Don't do anything illegal, abuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to harm others. Don't reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Free is free. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings; access continues to the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; if you don't like the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
5. Refunds
If something isn't working for you in the first 30 days, email us and we'll refund your last payment.
6. Data & privacy
Your data is yours. See the Privacy policy for details on what we collect and how we use it.
7. Cancellation & deletion
You can delete your account any time. We retain anonymized analytics for product improvement but personal and financial data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnTheBuck is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you by email or in-app at least 30 days before material changes take effect.
